this goes out to all of my local friends. Anyone want a free 3.5ft long albino corn snake? Its super sweet and I would keep it if I didn't already have 2 cats (I've been making sad faces at my husband all afternoon. I know that I could talk myself into getting the tank and equipment to get the corn snake that I have wanted since i was in middle school.... But Alex is right, we can't afford it and the whole cat vs snake if it ever got out would be bloody) Please spread the word. This snake is super sweet and spend a good hour or so tangled in my hair and around my neck and shoulders happy as a pig in shit. Corn snakes make awesome pets for kids about the age of your little ones Patricia...easy to take care of and you only have to feed them once every 7 to 10 days.

To everyone seeing this post, you are invited to come and watch my new journal. Updates here are going to slowly wane to nothing. I plan on keeping this journal so I can go back and see my old posts but that's about it. Tankgirledward was taken from several nicknames that I had in high school. I have since grown out of any similarity of personality. I will now be going with the nom de net of silvercicada

So I'm a bit torn. I've got a job as a waitress, makes good money but I come home stressed, exhausted and hating the majority of the human race. The money is not reliable but such is the nature of the job. I have my foot in the door to work at a high end salon as a hair washer/receptionist. This place also offers insurance, chances to learn more and is much more carrier oriented, the money is more consistent but less a week I'll start off at 7 an hour plus tips, I have no idea how much a hair washer gets tipped. The more I type the more I want the salon job...
I found my gift card to the mac counter. I usually never have money to spend on makeup and now I have $50 to put towards the good stuff, any of you out there mac lovers? any suggestion on what a Mac virgin should invest in? I've only gotten the most craptacular stuff from walmart and stage makeup.
O I almost forgot, I got a kitten! Alex and I named him Grue. If you are a nerd, yes he is named after the monster that will surely eat you in the dark from Zork. So, someone this morning was telling me that they wanted to get me a birthday present but I am imposable to shop for... I had no idea, I am seriously happy with a happy birthday and a hug but for those of you who are dead set on getting me something I'm going to post a list of ideas.

I know that no one is going to know who I am talking about or care but I met Tonya Ott! Listen next time when you have your raido tuned to 90.3 WBHM Birmingham. She is in the credits all the time. She is a reporter for NPR. As to why I had the chance to meet Tonya Ott, she was giving me plastic bags. I know it sounds strange but I am a memeber of the local freecycle group. I found a way to make shopping bags into yarn and well...turn that into...shopping bags, the reuseable kind! I don't want to just snatch extra bags when I go to Walmart, I want to use bags that were going to be put in a landfill and make them more useful. Anyone who wants a reuseable shopping bag or wants to donate bags, let me know. I havent't finished one yet so I don't know how much time is going into each one. I Think that they are goin to be about $5 each. Most if not all of the money that I make from these is going to help a family who moved here from Lousiana.

i don't know how, but i think tha ti have just hurt my back by sitting down too long and it HURTS. i've done this once or twice before. oh well, i haven't seen my doctor in a while
